Sindi Dlathu says goodbye to fans in style at Destiny Exclusive Hotel
Sindi told DRUM her fans were the reason she had made it so far in her career, which is why she invited a few of them as a token of her appreciation.
“They have been with me through this 20-year journey and I urge them to stay watching Muvhango even in my absence,” she says adding that her departure doesn’t mean it’s the end of Muvhango.
However, her fans feel there won’t be a Muvhango without Thandaza. They are prepared to go with her wherever she goes.
Gladys Masilo (81) from Tsakane says, “I’m very sad to see Thandaza leave. When she cries, I cry with her and when she laughs, I laugh along with her. She is the reason I watch Muvhango.”
“I love Thandaza so much and I can’t believe she is leaving Muvhango. What will Muvhango be without her? I wish her well in her plans and may God be with her,” Emily Xilongo (65) from Boksburg says.
Nancy Matlejoane (65) from Buccleuch says, “I’m so happy I was invited to Sindi’s high tea party, it was fantastic. She is such a humble person and very God fearing. I’m wishing her all the best with her dreams, although I’m going to miss her on Muvhango. I will always be her fan wherever she goes.”
Sindi says she will let her fans know of her next move, but she assured her them that “I am not retiring”.
